Hi everyone! Just wanted to do a quick post. I made matching notepads for the bags I made previously. It took me forever to get the measurements down! I started last night and finally got them done this evening! My markers were not cooperating with me at all. I was getting so frustrated! I ended up wasting a lot of CS. =( I decided to use the same image for each notepad. It made it much easier for me!

Gifts For Friends

Good evening everyone! Whew! It's been a busy week...didn't have much time to do any crafting until tonight.

Kae's first week went very smoothly. She's adjusting to OLPH rather well! She's made new friends and also volunteered to be an Altar Server when they have their weekly Mass. Never really thought she'd do that. But then again, she loves volunteering.

Anyway...I came across the "Box in a Bag" sometime last year on Joy's blog (or was it Jodi's?). I always wanted to try it, but never got around to doing so. I decided to make something for a few gals who are very special and dear to my heart. So, I thought this would be perfect! I won't say what's inside since I have yet to give it to them! LOL!

I also made this keepsake box for one of my dearest friends. You can find the tutorial on Maria's blog. She's so talented...so check out her blog for ideas!

Now I have to go and clean up the mess I made! I have glitter all over the place from the primas! Hope everyone enjoys the weekend! Stay safe!!!

Forgot About This One...

I forgot about this card...hehehe. I found it while cleaning up my little crafting area! I found this, some DSP, CS, other images I haven't even used yet, ribbon...feels like I hit the jackpot! I don't even remember buying half of these things! LOL!

Anyway...I'm really lovin' my new Sugar Nellie images...so I decided to make a card with one of the images I purchased a couple of weeks ago. And here she is...

I had the hardest time finding the little yellow flowers...I have them all in a baggie, and they're so small that I ended up dumping them all out just to find the four! Sad, so sad...

CSAYL Gift Set Challenge #6 - Keepsake Box

Good evening my dear friends! It's the weekend again...and I start my vacay! Woo hoo! I still don't know what I'm going to do. Kae starts school on Monday, and this gives me a chance to do some major cleaning around here! But then again, that's what I always say...hehehe.

This week's CSAYL challenge is a gift set challenge. I really wanted to try this out. Maria always comes up with the most gorgeous creations...and this is one of them! I wanted to add more "oomph" to the box...but I just sat there staring at it for 15 minutes and gave up. I'm going to try this again and add more detail...talk about having a major brain fart tonight! LOL!

Here's the set...Ian looks adorable in the Santa outfit...

And here's the inside of the box...stuffed it with cookies from the Honolulu Cookie Company...yum!

Another Summer Card

Helloooo everyone! How's your week going? I can't believe the week's almost over. So many things to do! Kae starts school on Monday. She's so excited...we still haven't gone through her supply list yet. Oi!

Anyway...here's another summer card for ya'll. I was rummaging through my stuff and found little Miss Lilly with her flippers and snorkel. She's making me want to hit the beach! =)

Hi everyone! Hope everyone had a blessed and awesome day! You know...I can't seem to get enough of my Anya's. They're just so darn cute! This one is a fave of mine (I think I've said that for every Anya/TGF stamp I've used!). She looks so sweet and innocent with her heart pendant hanging around her neck.

I had to try and use my scallop punch from SU! again. It's soooo "perdy". Hehehe...the half pearls were a little surprise that came with my order from Tamiko's. I had the hardest time trying to center them. And of course, to make her pendant shine, I used my Crystal Lacquer.

Oh So Simple...

Good evening everyone!!! Hope everyone had a great start to their week!

I was able to do some organizing with my craft supplies...but I still have so much to do! Took a break to open up the box from Bath & Body Works...can't wait for their store to open here in Hawaii. It's about time! =)

On with the card. Another simple card...this cutie is from TGF's Miss Anya Love's set. She looks so sweet and innocent, huh? I don't know why, but I've been using green a lot. Could it be that I have a new favorite color? Nah...purple's still at the top of my list!

I made this card for Christmas Stampin' All Year Long. I haven't made anything for this blog in a long time. We only have five more months until Christmas, and at the rate I'm going, I think I should start making my cards now! Anyway...here's CSAYL #59...it's a sketch challenge. And here's my card. I forgot I had this cute image. So I inked her up today. For some reason, I couldn't find a Christmas sentiment! I had to rummage through my junks and I finally found one.

It's Aloha Friday...woo hoo! The weekend's finally here. This week dragged on, and on. We have a busy weekend again! I still have to make thank you's for Kae...oi!

Just a quick post this morning. I forgot I had this image laying on my desk...I was drying the Crystal Lacquer on her shoes. This one is another image I purchased from Funky Kits.

I wanted to add more embellishments but...I was too lazy! So bad! This one is my favorite of all the Sugar Nellie stamps I purchased last week.

My SU! order came in last week, I still haven't opened the box! I think I'll go and do that now. Don't forget...tomorrow's the last day to enter to win my blog candy! I'm thinking of adding more stuff...so check back later on today!

I can't believe it's almost the weekend. And...I can't believe we're 5 months away until Christmas! Making the previous card yesterday got me thinking about the holidays. But...we need to get through all the other holidays first!

Anyway...here's the card for today. This is one of the new Sugar Nellie images I purchased from Funky Kits...this is one of Kae's favorites.

I made a boo-boo on the ribbon, so I had to hide it with some primas...hehehe. Isn't she cute? I don't know what's wrong with my camera, so the image is a little blurred. Sorry!

Christmas on My Mind...

Hi ya'll!!! Hope everyone's enjoying their week. It's been a tad bit crazy. Kae starts at OLPH in a little over a week and we've been getting her school supplies. I can't understand why kids need all these supplies. I don't remember needing as many when I was in grade school! She also got her uniforms...boy did that spark excitement! She's excited, and I'm nervous! Hehehe...

Well, I've been seeing a number of Christmas cards being posted the last couple of weeks...and that has put me in the merriest of moods...lol! So I decided to make a Christmas card today. I just got this Sugar Nellie image the other day from Funky Kits. I made a huge dent in my wallet going to their site! They have the cutest stamps!

I used lots of Stickles and my Crystal Lacquer to give her boots some shine.

Good evening everyone! Hope you guys are enjoying your weekend so far...

Last night was Kae's second birthday party...with our second family. It was great spending time with them! Today, Kae and I went to Wet N' Wild to celebrate Alisha's birthday. OMGosh!!! It was such a nice day! Kae and Alisha had a blast going on the different rides...while Ro and I just kicked back and relaxed. It was the first time in a long time that I actually RELAXED...it was awesome!

Anyway...just wanted to share what I made for the aunties last night. I grabbed this idea from Joy...I loved how quick and easy they were to make!

Here's a closer look...each bag had a Post-It, pen and a mini anti-bacterial thingy from Bath and Body Works.

Happy Thursday everyone! The weekend's almost here! I just checked the calendar today and realized Kae has about two more weeks left before her first day at OLPH. She's so excited! This summer break seems longer than last year's...hehehe.

Well...tomorrow's Kae's second birthday party with some close friends and I still have a couple of things to make soooo...before starting, I thought I'd share this card.

I just purchased Cupcake Kiki from Tamiko's earlier this week. Isn't she a cutie? The flowers look darker than what's pictured. They're hot pink and!)...and some sparkle to the frosting on the cupcake.

Is it me or is the week going by real sloooooowly??? Hehehe...

Since I started creating again, my crafting area is a mess! I'd take a pic to show ya'll but it's so embarrassing! Everything's all over the place...I couldn't find my scissors until this morning! Bad, bad, bad! But it's so much fun, fun, fun!!!

Anyway, just wanted to do a quick post on a card I made last night. This is one of the new TGF images I purchased last week. I love this one...she's so cute!

After reading about the celebration, I dusted off my TGF stamps and wanted to make a card. I haven't used this one in a while...in fact, I think I've only used this once since getting it! Living in Hawaii, and it being summer...I thought Surfer Ian would be great to work with today!

To give that special sheen to his surfboard, I used my Crystal Lacquer. I had the hardest time taking a close up picture to show it!

Is The Weekend Over Already???

Wow! What a weekend! Thanks to everyone who wished Kae a happy birthday. She felt the love and says thank you as well. Her party was great! The kids ran around (I gave them lots and lots of sugar...hehehehe...poor parents!), and played mini golf. There was lots of food left! Thank goodness I can relax now that it's over.

Well...on to the card. The image is the second fairy in the "A Little Bit of Magic" stamp set from SU. I don't know why, but I love fairies (and Hello Kitty of course!). Does anyone know if there are Tinkerbell stamps sold anywhere? That would be awesome!

I had a number of issues making this card. It's simple enough...maybe I'm still pooped from yesterday's celebration??? Oh well...it came out okay. =)

I went to Ben Franklin's the other day and saw Flower Soft. I always wanted to try it out. So I bought a couple of them. It's so pretty! Hi everyone! It's been over a year since my last post...in fact it's been over a year since I've created anything! It has been a roller coaster ride for me the last year and a half...but I feel my old self returning. Just taking one day at a time!

Anywho...this first post will be rather short. Kae's birthday is just days away and she's been bugging me to start on the favors. So, I brought everything out and started on one of them (she actually told me "I'm so proud of you!!!" when she noticed me crafting tonight.).
